Build skills. Keep routines. Live well at home.
Carevio’s Community Living Support program is person-centered in-home care that helps individuals practice daily living skills, stay safe, and participate in their communities. Our goal is to make home the center of life while giving families consistent, reliable help and peace of mind.
We work with children, teens, and adults who benefit from extra support with daily routines, safety awareness, communication, social confidence, organization, and community access. Many families also use CLS to ease high-need times of day or to complement school, work, or therapy schedules.

CLS is tailored to your goals. Visits can include gentle assistance with personal care and hygiene; simple meal planning, safe cooking, and clean-up; household organization such as laundry, dishes, and room resets; and reminders that keep medications and appointments on track. We also coach safety and self-advocacy, practice communication and social skills, and support community participation—everything from libraries and recreation to classes, volunteer sites, or errands—so skills transfer beyond the home.
A typical visit begins with a brief check-in to set goals for the day. We move into the routine—perhaps hygiene and a quick room reset—then concentrate on a skill such as meal prep or a laundry system. When appropriate, we include time in the community, like a library trip or grocery practice, before ending with a short recap and next-visit plan. Families often schedule two to five visits per week, but the cadence is customized to your routine.
Getting started is simple. We begin with a discovery call to learn about goals, safety considerations, and preferred hours. Next, we create a person-centered plan that outlines tasks, skill targets, and safeguards. We then match you with a trained caregiver and coordinate the first visits, offering shadow support if that helps. From there, you’ll receive regular updates and monthly summaries so everyone stays aligned.
